Our best friend, Augustina, just lost her mom on Friday, October 31st, and it’s been absolutely heartbreaking to watch her go through this. This has completely turned her world upside down emotionally and mentally.

Augustina has been taking care of herself for as long as she can remember. She’s one of the most hardworking and independent people we know, someone who never asks for help and always finds a way to keep going on her own. Before this happened, she was already doing her best and struggling to stay on top of bills while working full-time as a server. Now, with the grief and stress of losing her mom while handling everything, it’s been really hard for her to even get out of bed, let alone go to work. The emotional weight has made everything feel heavier, and the financial pressure isn’t helping.

Her bills come out to about $2,000 a month, and her lease is up in February. We’re hoping to raise enough to help her cover her basic expenses until then such as rent, monthly bills, and groceries, so she can have some time to breathe, heal, and not worry about falling behind while she gets through this.

Augustina didn’t ask us to make this GoFundMe. That’s not who she is. But she’s always been there for everyone else, even when she’s had her own struggles, and now it’s our turn to be there for her.

Any amount helps, and even just sharing this page means so much. Every bit of support makes a difference and reminds her she’s not alone in this.
