On Tuesday evening, July 22, 2025, our beloved August Soto, a 16-year-old Broomfield High School student from Northglenn, Colorado, was involved in a serious car accident. He has been in the hospital since, courageously fighting through the effects of several injuries, the most critical of which is severe head trauma.

Anyone that knows August knows that he is more than just a student and a state-ranked high school wrestler; he's also passionate fisherman, golfer, and a kind, driven, intelligent, caring, and, most of all, deeply loved young man. Whether on the mat, on the water, or simply spending time with his four brothers, the rest of his family, and his many friends, August brings dedication, strength, and joy to everything he does.

His road to recovery will be long and challenging, but if anyone has the heart and resilience and sheer grit to face it, it’s August. Right now, his family is focused on supporting him every moment of the day as he undergoes treatment, rehabilitation, and healing. The emotional toll is immense, and so are the financial burdens.
