Hello friends, Our little business August Creative lost our Olympia office and years of our history, ephemera and art in the fire on December 14th. Mychal and I have been blessed with an amazing thriving business, and this loss is primarily emotional for us. It is painful to lose a space you built deliberately and with intention.
It's funny, but I am particularly saddened by the loss of our little plastic robot pencil sharpener, which has become a kind of unofficial mascot for us these past years. If you've spent time in our office, you know just what I'm referring to.
Thank you for your support, and please help us help others. If you'd like to explore the other businesses impacted and give to them, here is a full list:

Also here are some photos of our lovely space, before and after, which was carefully created for us. This fire is devastating, but we are so lucky. Thank you for helping the businesses at 314 Capitol rebuild and start again!
Our office mid-construction, before the floor went in. There was a closet here that Damien removed so we could have more light from the window.

I loved this big beautiful window that was original to the building.
