Hi everyone,

To those who don't know us, we're August and Milo. We are two queer adults born and raised in Florida. While we love our home state we have been feeling the increasing tension and rise in anti-queer sentiments on a smaller scale, and attacks on LGBTQ rights on a larger scale. We have both decided to move to a place that we feel is safer and more supportive of the queer community.

August and I have been saving for the past year+ for a move from Florida to Philadelphia. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are having to put down more from our savings than we anticipated. One of us has work lined up while the other is in the process of interviewing. Landing work without physically being there has proven very difficult.

We are concerned about rent and bills for our second month which we will have to pay almost immediately after moving. We understand that everyone is navigating very uncertain times. We are fundraising for just enough to land safely and comfortably. If you're able to offer any support through sharing or donating we would both appreciate it immensely.
