Dear Friends,
At August (1) Five, we employ over 30 people who are now out of work. We want to do our part in minimizing the spread of Covid-19 but at the same time we are looking at a dramatic financial loss that has come with this temporary business closure.
Our employees make all the magic happen and keeping our community intact during this hard time is our number one priority. We had to make the hard decision to temporarily lay off our employees and we have created a relief fund to help them.
We will use 100% of these funds and other donations to help those on our team that will, unfortunately, face significant financial hardship in the weeks to come. We are also looking to continue offering health benefits post-March 31st and our humble request to you is join us in this effort as our industry faces the biggest challenge it has ever faced.
