For the past 15 years, Agustin Torres—better known to everyone as “Augie”—has been a dedicated and valued member of the team at Eldorado Country Club. As a Lead Steward in the culinary department, Augie has been a senior employee and an invaluable part of the club’s daily operations. His hard work, reliability, and positive spirit have made a lasting impact on both his coworkers and the members he serves.

Recently, Augie suffered a sudden stroke while spending time with his wife. He was rushed to the hospital and spent several days in the ICU. While his recovery is looking promising, Augie now faces a long road ahead that will include extensive physical therapy and speech therapy. Because of this unexpected medical emergency, Augie is currently unable to work and will be out for an extended period while he focuses on healing.
