On November 9th, 2024 my nephew Agustin (Auggie) Ruelas and fiancee Mis’chellay Jenkins welcomed their son Milo Nomir Ruelas into this world. He was born preterm at 33 weeks and needed to be in the NICU for more support. After being transferred to 2 different specialty hospitals to try to get the help/treatment he needed, he was diagnosed with Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia, which is a rare, fatal lung disease that affects the development of the lungs blood vessels and air sacs. A diagnosis that no one would have never known he had until he was born.

After a long week of working hard and fighting through all the treatments and procedures, My nephew Agustin and Mis’chellay had to say their goodbyes to their newborn baby Milo Nomir on November 15, 2024.

A parent can never plan for the loss of a child and we can’t even imagine the pain they are in. We are asking for donations to help this young loving family with the staggering reality of grief, medical bills, funeral expenses, and the myriad cost associated with saying goodbye to Milo. And also to help them manage their expenses over the next few months so they can stay home as they grieve the loss of their son and continue to provide for and support his sisters, Ariah and Amora. We do not want them to have to worry about anything other than their two beautiful daughters and healing their hearts.
