My cousin Lisa’s oldest daughter, Audrina, has been diagnosed with lymphoma and is currently admitted to the pediatric unit at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. At this time, doctors are still working to determine exactly what type of lymphoma Audrina has.
Audrina will soon undergo surgery to biopsy her lymph nodes and a tumor located in the muscle of her femur. The results of this surgery will help doctors determine her treatment plan and the next steps forward.
While Audrina focuses on getting through surgery and treatment, Lisa is by her side every step of the way. This means Lisa will be continuing to missing work, leading to lost income during a time when expenses are only increasing. Between gas for frequent trips to downtown Baltimore, daily parking fees, and making sure her other children are fed, cared for, and supported, the financial stress is adding up quickly.
We are asking for help to lift some of this burden from Lisa so she can focus on being there for Audrina and her other children. Any donation—no matter the amount—will go toward:
• Lost wages while Lisa is unable to work
• Gas and transportation to and from the hospital
• Parking fees at the hospital
• Food and care for her additional children during this time
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser or keeping Audrina and Lisa in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of love and support means more than we can say.
Thank you for helping our family stand beside Audrina and Lisa during this difficult journey.
