Hi! My name is Audrey and I’m trying to help my mom afford rent for at least a month or two so she can finally get the surgery needed and not end up losing her place due to having to miss work. Long story short, she has 2 growths in her ovaries, one of them is a 4 inch mass on her right ovary. This issue causes her debilitating pain as well as blood clots, and she’s been dealing with this for almost a year. The emergency room told her she needs them removed and to at least have 6-8 weeks off work for healing, which she’s been putting off due to not being able to afford to miss work. I love my mom and want the best for her, and it makes me sad to see her go through this and have to keep going through it, especially with how expensive everything is. Everybody is one check away from being homeless, and I would hate to see that happen to my mom. If you guys ever met my mom, you know how lovely and welcoming she is. She lights up the room wherever she goes and is the best mom/grandma anybody could ask for. Anything helps; I just want everything to go good for my mom and I want her to get better.
