Audrey is a fun, energetic, dancing girl who loves to play with her brother. Audrey had a wonderful Christmas and ready to jump into a new year of fun and adventures. On Friday January 2nd a simple "grunt" sound she was making alarmed her daycare. That evening her mom took her to Urgent Care and immediately instructed to take her to Nationwide Children's Hospital. She was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy. She will be in the ICU for a minimum of 2-3 weeks while her amazing team of doctors work on her treatment. Lauren and Riley have been at her side non-stop and still taking care of their son, Lincoln with the help of family. Many people have asked what they can do to help so I thought this GoFundMe would be best option to help with medical expenses, supplies, parking, meals and anything they need while they stay at the hospital. It would also help with activities for Lincoln. What they have in the future with out-of-pocket medical expenses will most likely be extensive, this will help that burden. Audrey has been the light of the ICU. All the staff can't help themselves but to stop and see this sweet baby girl who is handling this illness incredibly well.
