Hi friends, I'm Audrey and I'm desperately in need of working A/C in my car. Temps have already reached the 90s and it's not even April yet which has me very worried for the summer. Back in March of 2023 my car was stolen and when it was recovered it was functioning, but the A/C hasn't worked since. I'm a single mom and my daughter has type 1 diabetes, and nothing in the economy in the last few years has been conducive to being able to afford repairs.

I'm also living with quite a few chronic illnesses, including POTS which is a form of dysautonomia that especially is triggered with the heat. My heart rate can reach upwards of 130-140 bpm just sitting in my car commuting on a 90 degree day. These high heart rates can lead to fainting episodes which obviously are dangerous while driving.

I cannot afford a new car payment, but I cannot make it another summer without A/C. I'm hoping to raise $1200 to cover the costs of repairing the A/C to make my car safe for my daughter and myself.
