Support Audra & Family during Eliana's Medical Crisis

Hi! Erin and I are longtime friend of Audra's, we have watched her live her life for her children, and right now she could really use our help.

This is one of the hardest things a parent could ever have to share.

Last week, Eliana woke up with stroke-like symptoms. Within hours, an MRI revealed a very large and aggressive brain tumor causing dangerous pressure on her brain, optic nerves, and brain stem. That night, Eliana and her mom were airlifted to BC Children’s Hospital.

Eliana has since undergone an extremely long and high-risk surgery — over eight hours — which she survived with incredible strength. During the procedure, doctors discovered that there are what appears to be 2 tumors, not one, as they were in 2 separate areas, and they also look different from each other. The surgeons were able to biopsy both tumors and when those results are back they will be able to confirm. The tumors are aggressive and inoperable at this time, and final results will guide the diagnosis and next steps in care.

While doctors are still awaiting definitive answers, Eliana’s condition is very serious and her time is uncertain. What is known is that every day matters.

Despite everything she is facing in her short 19 months of life, Eliana remains her bright, spunky self — full of light and personality. There are no metastases in her spine, which is one small piece of hope in a very difficult situation.

Audra has only recently returned to work, and is the sole provider for her family but will now be off indefinitely to care for her daughter and be by her side. Her daughter Talia is also deeply affected by this — navigating the fear and heartbreak of watching her little sister go through the unimaginable.

Audra also lovingly hosts exchange students, who she considers part of her family. While they are staying elsewhere for now, the separation has been incredibly hard on everyone. She adores these boys, and the disruption to their home adds another emotional layer to an already overwhelming time.

This fundraiser is meant to ease the financial burden during an unimaginable chapter — covering lost income, travel, meals, and the many unexpected costs that come with long hospital stays and ongoing care. Most importantly, it allows Audra to focus fully on what matters most: being present with Eliana, supporting Talia, and holding her family together during this time.

If you are able to donate, any amount truly helps. If not, sharing this page or keeping this family in your thoughts is deeply appreciated.

Thank you for your compassion, kindness, and support.
