My name's Aubri and I'm trying to raise enough money to get my car fixed. Last year in January of 2025, my car started acting up after a vacation to Florida. Literally, the first day back, it shut off while I was driving it. I took it to a local dealership, got it fixed, and also got 2 new tires, which was around $1400. Then, less than 7 months later, it started acting up again, so I took it in again. It needed brakes, rotors, tires, and something else, but I can't remember exactly what it was. That visit was $1500. Within 2 weeks, my check engine light came on. I took it to O'Reilly, and they hooked the machine up to it, and the code it gave was underboost, which essentially means there is no airflow to my turbo (didn't even know I had a turbo until this occurred). I called around to get an estimate on getting it diagnosed, and only one place would diagnose it due to it involving a turbo. So, a girl I work with, thank God for her, talked to her stepdad who spent over an hour yesterday (May 7, 2026) on the ground outside of my work looking at it and diagnosing it for free. It needs a brand new turbo, which the part alone is $700. I was also told and shown that to replace the turbo, a large portion of my engine will need to come out because it's underneath everything. He told me that usually when it's something like this, they end up finding seals or bolts that need replacing. It's going to end up being between $1500 to $2000 to fix my car after parts, labor, and anything else that they may run into. I tried taking it to trade in and was told due to the issue it's having that it has negative equity. This is a last resort effort to find a way to either get my car fixed, which is what I want to occur because I'm at the end of my loan and I want to go a few years without a car payment and start paying off some debt. However, if I can't get it fixed, I will need to have money for a down payment on a new car. Doing this is a huge hit to my pride, but I don't have any other option. So please, if you can't help or have something negative to say, move on because I'm beating myself up enough over needing help.

Now that rhe turbo is replaced it broke down again yesterday on my way to work. I paid 1700.00 and over 450 for my last rental. I had to get another rental today which was 671 and now I dont even know how much my car will be to fix. Please please even if u can only donate 5 everything helps.

I can not thank the ppl who have donated alrdy enough. I need my car for work beyond that I genuinely do nothing but grocery store and laundromat. Im begging at this point for any and all help.
