Early on the morning of August 3rd, Michele and James received the call every parent dreads, their daughter Aubrey had been involved in a devastating car accident. The impact resulted in a compound fracture of her pelvis and two broken vertebrae in her back, along with serious internal injuries.

Aubrey was airlifted to OHSU, where she has already undergone two major surgeries, the first to address internal injuries, and the second to stabilize her pelvis and begin the healing process. She is currently stable, and while her condition is still serious, her strength, and the grace of God are carrying her through.

The road ahead will be long and challenging. Aubrey faces an extended hospital stay, followed by rehabilitation, physical therapy, and months of recovery. Her parents, Michele and James, have been by her side every step of the way and have both taken time off work to support and care for their daughter through this incredibly difficult time.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden this situation has placed on their family. Funds will go toward:

• Ongoing medical and hospital expenses

• Travel and meals while staying near the hospital

• Rehabilitation and physical therapy

• Lost income while Michele and James care for Aubrey
