Because of your generosity, I’ll be able to cover not only the chair, but also shipping, a custom seat cushion for my body, and any alterations I might need. All remaining funds will be paid forward to another disabled person needing support for mobility aids to improve their quality of life!

Lots of you have asked about supporting me with mobility devices, since they’re rarely covered by insurance but are essential to me navigating around my house, public spaces and in day-to-day life. So, I’ll be keeping the fundraiser open until this upcoming Wednesday if anyone wants to contribute.

Hi friends — my name is Aubrey! I’m a little person living in New York City, and I’m raising funds to get a wheelchair designed specifically for my body. Navigating this fast-paced, inaccessible city can take a serious toll on my joints, energy, and overall safety.

After a referral from a friend, I found the perfect one. It supports my frame, and gives me the comfort and independence I need. Unfortunately, insurance won’t cover it, and the cost is more than I can manage alone.
