Support Aubrey's Healing Journey

Aubrey is the full-time parent to 3 kiddos all under 8, as well as 2 cats, 2 dogs, and a flock of noisy chickens. They have been waiting for life-saving gender-affirming top surgery for years now, and are finally going to be getting it done! Also, in a bizarre turn of events, last year after a cancer scare they found out that they are at a high risk for cancer. This has meant regular mammograms, MRIs, exams, and genetic testing. The doctors said that with top surgery it would prevent the reality that it's not an "if" but a "when" I would expect to get cancer. While the costs of the surgery itself are covered, our family doesn't have the supports in place to help with aftercare.

Taylor, Aubrey's partner, will have to miss work for the time that Aubrey is not able to fully care for themselves and the kids. We do not have family to help us with the load. And it is highly critical that Aubrey rests during this time of healing.

The donations will be used to help pay for bills for the 6-8 weeks that Aubrey is recovering and Taylor will be out of work, as well as lighten the load of chores at home by getting a laundry service- 3 kids and pets equals LAUNDRY.
