Earlier this month Aubrey (Redd) Michael Devalt tragically and unexpectedly passed away at too young of an age. He left behind a loving wife and family, who through the heartbreak and shock, will find a way to honor and celebrate Aubrey. Aubrey's dedication and sacrifice to providing a good life for his family took him all over the country working as a Union Pipefitter out of Local 619 in Vicksburg Mississippi. As all of us that worked with him know, it can be difficult to leave your family in order to provide the best for them. To try and be the best husband, father and friend, all while being away from home for long periods can be trying and unexplainably stressful. Aubrey shouldered this responsibility with humility, kindness and grace. He did all of this for his family. He worked hard and put in the kind of hours that most individuals wouldn't even consider working. His presence on a jobsite was always refreshing. It was a pleasure to work alongside him. Aubrey enjoyed all that this world had to offer. Whether it was in the outdoors, he was an avid sportsman, or in the simple beauty of cultivating and growing a garden, he took the time to enjoy life and all that it offered. Brothers and Sisters, please find it in your hearts to support one of our own. There is no better way that we show our solidarity and respect for each other than the way that we help each other in times of need, and this is one of those times. Please join us in allowing Aubrey's family to celebrate and honor his life and memory, and not having to worry about expenses. Nothing can replace him, but we can try to lesson the stress that his loved ones are feeling right now.
