Support Aubrey Brown (Hughes)

Aubrey Brown, nee HUGHES, is a mother of three. She teaches Pre-K and works another job during summers. She’s also currently seeking a second job to work after she ends her day educating. As many of you may know, due to circumstances beyond her control (or wildest dreams), Aubrey has fallen upon financial hardship. After a nearly 25-year marriage and three children, Aubrey found herself starting over. Not long after her divorce, Aubrey’s ex-husband was arrested and charged, and has now been federally indicted, for bank robbery. 

As you could probably guess, her ex-husband has also failed to fulfill his obligations under their divorce decree. He not only failed to take her off of the debt associated with the couple’s assets (nearly all of which were awarded to him), but he has also now stopped paying the court-ordered monthly payments for her home and vehicle. 

This has left Aubrey facing eviction, repossession of her vehicle, and defending herself (out of her own pocket) against litigation in two counties. 

Despite all of the trauma and turmoil of the past 2-3 years, she has remained positive, sweet, caring, and fun. She would NEVER ask for herself, and if anyone deserves a hand up, I think it’s her.
