Aubrey and Gabe need your help! This young couple is full of joy and positivity. Both have smiles and attitudes that could light up a room. They started dating nearly a year ago and have been inseparable since. Both love camping and spending time outdoors so they couldn’t wait for Spring/Summer to arrive so they could enjoy each other’s company while hiking and camping around the Missouri Ozarks.

On April 18, 2026, Aubrey and Gabe were enjoying the company of a couple friends around a small cozy campfire when suddenly out of nowhere someone threw a full tank of gasoline into the fire. The tank exploded, the gasoline ignited and flames quickly consumed Aubrey and Gabe.

The couple were rushed to a local hospital where Aubrey is now in a medically induced coma while on life support. Aubrey has third degree burns on 49% of her body. Gabe sustained severe burns to his hands, legs and face. Gabe is scheduled for skin graft surgery immediately.

Aubrey works tirelessly as a caretaker for individuals with cerebral palsy. She also has a passion for vintage women’s clothing which she sells through her Etsy store. She is the fur mom to two cats, Rue and Moochi, and a Pomeranian named Toby. Aubrey loves spreading love and joy and dreams of a peaceful world.

Gabe is a trash collector in Springfield Missouri. Customers on his trash route constantly email and call his bosses complimenting his friendly nature and hard work ethic. Gabe shares his home with his yellow ball python, Cornflake.

Aubrey and Gabe are a wonderful, hardworking young couple that did not deserve this. Both have the most positive attitudes and so much kindness to give. They need our prayers and support.
