Support Attila Erzebek's Critical Health Journey

My name is George Vargas. I am reaching out to you on behalf of my friend, Attila Erzeybek. Recently I have learned that Attila has been suffering from a number of very debilitating ailments. Since the pandemic Attila has contracted COVID three times, pneumonia nine times and has undergone two heart procedures. To further complicate the situation just four weeks ago Attila was diagnosed with leukemia for which his family are currently awaiting his bone marrow results. At this writing he is in the hospital again to have fluid drained from his lungs.

Many of you may know Attila for his kindness, good humor, generosity and vigor. Now, it’s time for us to return his kindness. He needs our help now as never before. In the coming weeks he is scheduled to have surgery to repair a damaged diaphragm and remove scar tissue from his lungs. The operation is critical to improving his overall health so that he can return to being the active father he was before his breathing became impaired.

As a first generation Turkish American and single father of three, Attila relies at this time on his oldest son, 18 year old Onur to act as caretaker for both Attila and his two other twin 14 year old children. After his upcoming procedure the doctors tell him the recovery time will be 12 months. Placing even greater responsibility on Onur. While Attila’s faith in God is strong, the financial burden he and his family is facing is something they can not handle alone. Please, let’s help Attila and his family.
