Help us save Atlas. Our beloved rescue pup is in need, and we are asking for your help. About a week and a half ago, we noticed ongoing issues with his eating, which eventually reached the point of him refusing food.

Two days ago, at the advice of our veterinarian, we checked him into the emergency hospital near us for further testing. We suspect he ingested something toxic to his system, and his body has been trying to fight it off for some time.

At only four years old, he's full of life and love. Our family only recently lost our older pup, Chewie, and neither my children or myself cannot take another loss.

We are looking for the support of those we love and our community to help us make decisions based on medical necessity and not financial need. The goal is to see improvements in his liver and white blood cells with the current medication protocol so we can switch to oral meds and bring him home.

If that does not happen, then the hospital has asked us to consider transferring him to UF for further treatment, and we cannot afford life-saving measures at this time.
