I have probably typed and retyped this at least 10 times because I'm very awkward and unsure of what to say, so I'll just cut to the chase. Today my sweet boy, my furry companion of 5 years, Atlas had a very scary medical emergency.

Unfortunately, medical costs are quite expensive. I was quoted approximately $2000 for an ultrasound, xray, surgery, medication, and recovery period at the vet clinic. To put it simply, i just don't have $2000 to give, because I would in a heart beat.
