Hi, Jonathan and Laura here, and welcome to REPENT, a one-of-a-kind comedy storytelling show. We're both ATLiens, born and raised in Atlanta, and we believe this city is home to some of the most talented, unique and hilarious voices in comedy. Repent is all about showcasing the best of Atlanta in a fresh and exciting way.

What makes this show different from a regular stand-up or comedy show?

Don’t get us wrong, stand-up is amazing and improv is pretty lit. We've performed both and, yes, we’re pretty stinkin’ funny. But there’s something special about storytelling shows. They let performers share their "emotional truths," building a real connection with the audience and creating a sense of community.

Also, we want to bring you performers that maybe you wouldn't expect to tell funny stories, Killer Mike anybody?

Is this a storytelling show with sad stories?

Absolutely not. No shade to other events where people share their trauma, but that’s not our vibe. The last thing we want to do is trigger you or make you feel sad. This show is all about performers telling fun secrets that will make you laugh!

Why call it Repent? It feels religious.

We totally get that! But trust us, it’s not a religious show. We had to come up with a name, and Usher already claimed “Confessions.”

So, why do you need my money?

So, not only are we looking to produce a live show that’s both authentic and ridiculously funny, but our big goal here is to film and produce this for TV or your favorite streaming service.

We know this won't happen over night, but as we put this plan into motion we need your help! The funds we raise will go toward covering production costs like: venue rentals, professional videography, paying the performers, marketing to get the word out, post-production, etc. to share this project with the world.
