Support Atlanta Youth Ultimate through the YCC program!

Who are we? AFDC Jrs. is part of the Atlanta ultimate frisbee scene known as AFDC . The AFDC is a non-profit organization formed in 1978, incorporated in 1988, and currently has over 2,500 members. We are run by volunteers who give their time and energy to organizing ultimate leagues, goaltimate leagues, tournaments, clinics, and community outreach efforts. Our mission is to educate the public & youth of Atlanta on the sports of Ultimate & Goaltimate and Spirit of the Game by fostering accessible, diverse, and competitive local & national play. OUR GOAL

On behalf of Atlanta’s Youth Elite Ultimate (YEU) coaches, team managers, and players, we hope to raise additional funds supporting our 4 travel teams headed to Colorado in August for the Youth Club Championship (YCC).

In 2023, Atlanta Flying Disc Club (AFDC) Jrs. sent 4 teams to the YCC tournament:

Each year, many players benefit from scholarships funded through generous donations from our Ultimate community! These scholarships cover travel and other expenses so Ultimate players in need can participate in YCC! We also want to be able to support our amazing coaches throughout the season and their travel to YCC.

This summer program supports an environment of team building, athleticism, and spirit of the game for our teenagers and young adults from a variety of backgrounds.

We have already funded 11 scholarships this season, but still have a need for YCC 2024. Please consider donating ANY amount to help the players this season as well as build and sustain our scholarship fund. Any donations not utilized this year, will roll-over to next year's teams!

How is your donation spent:

$40 pays for one player's USAU membership

$110 pays for one player’s uniform

$250-300 pays for one player's flight to YCC

$350 pays half of one player's program fee

$700 pays one player’s program fee in full

$1,000 pays for one coach to go to YCC (help us send more coaches to YCC!)

Other items donations could fund: field cost, equipment, travel and team food, transportation in YCC, etc.
