Hey, my name is Jennifer. The amazing lady in this picture is one of my bestest friends. This woman has been to hell and back a couple times. She did what she could to get by in construction, lawn care whatever. That's all she thought she was good at. No matter where she was in her life if she could help she would.

Then she took a chance and got a job at Safeway as a meat cutter. In half the time alloted she moved up in the ranks. She just got her "new to me" truck and an apartment after getting notice they had to move lil over a week prior.

Fast forward to 2 days ago. Athena has been dealing with digestion and tummy issues for what seems like forever, but she works thru it. Until she could not any longer. She was in too much pain to ignore thinking it was appendix she went to the ER. Not appendix but worse, her colon tore. She is now at the hospital for at least a week but possibly more. Hopefully no surgery but it's too strong of a possibility.

Athena currently is the sole bread winner. Now rent & bills are coming due.

Thank God she has insurance but desperately needs some help until she can go back to work. BTW the only reason she is not working thru this pain is because they admitted her.
