Support Athena's Mom for a Healthier Future

Hello, my name is Athena. I am currently trying to raise money to help my mother with her oral surgery coming up in a month. She is a hard working mom that has struggled most of her life to make ends meet. She has always and still puts everyone else’s needs above her own and this time she can no longer continue to do that without caring for herself first. Her physical health has been deteriorating and she is not as young as she once was. This surgery is a new beginning for her. It will allow her to have a better quality of life and to enjoy things that so many of us take for granted. Struggling with many infections, respiratory infections, chronic antibiotic use and immunosuppression because of it, she cannot continue to maintain her health in this manner. With a lot of persuasion she is going to finally go for the surgery but with doing so she will have an additional financial stressor. My mother is the kind of mother that takes everyone in and treats them as her own. Always giving and going above and beyond for others no matter the cost. She is a dedicated nurse, mother, grandmother, friend, sister, aunt, role model, a woman of many hats that could now use some kindness and generosity from us.
