Astro is a stray that my crew and I found on his deathbed on the side of the road in Houston while we were restoring power to the community. He's a tough little guy, but unfortunately the deck has been stacked against him in this life. His entire body is covered in burns and severe demodex. We started treatment immediately in Houston to combat those issues. Unfortunately, when we got him to his new home of St. Louis, he took a turn for the worse and was having trouble breathing and eating so we rushed him to Veterinary Emergency Group where he's currently receiving the best possible care available for pneumonia and his previous ailments. These treatments include chest xrays, blood work, a 24 hr stay in the oxygen tank, a 24 hr cycle of intravenous antibiotics, possible blood transfusions and WHATEVER IT TAKES to get him healed up and free from pain.

Unfortunately these treatments aren't cheap, and his dad didn't exactly have $6,000 (and growing) set aside for this type of emergency and had to use the money he had designated to fix the blown engine in his truck so he can continue to chase storms and restore power to the community after natural disasters.

One way or another, Astro will continue to recieve any and every form of care and treatment available to him regardless of the cost, but any help would certainly be appreciated. He's lucky to have so many good folks invested in his well being, and we THANK YOU all for the positive energy that has been sent his way! Pain is all the poor little guy has ever known, let's show him what love feels like. He surely deserves it
