Meet Aspen! She arrived as a stray at Dallas Animal Services back in May. She had recently given birth but was not found with her puppies.

I fell in love with her, so I took her home as my foster. She was adopted a week later by a wonderful adopter who has kept me updated on how she is doing.

Sadly, Aspen started to have seizures. She was diagnosed with epilepsy. Her mom took her to the vet, and she’s on medication, but her seizures have continued to get worse. She has had to go to the emergency vet a few times, which has been extremely financially difficult for her mom.

She reached out to me to see if there were any suggestions or programs to help out, as she does not want to have to surrender or look for a new home for Aspen. I offered to set up a GoFundMe to help get her to a specialist who can hopefully get her on new medication or treatment.
