Support Aspen's Dream of Becoming a Social Worker

Hello! My name is Amanda, but I prefer to go by Aspen. I am a first generation college student. Unfortunately due to mix-ups with financial aid and not being told the right information, I have been excluded in FAFSA services until further notice, hence this Go Fund Me. I want so desperately to go back to college and finish my education, however, it is proving impossible due to tuition costs. The cost for a full semester at my current community college for fall of this year is $968. In order to go back this semester - and in general - I have to either pay off the semester all at once, or I need to create an installment plan. The problem with an installment plan is I am required to put 50% down. This is impossible for me to do all at once simply because I work one part-time job and I won't have enough time to save properly within the next three weeks, while also maintaining bills and groceries.

I have been attempting to go back to college for over a year now because I would like to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I thoroughly enjoy helping people and it has become my passion to make sure everyone feels their best in life. Ideally, I would like to have my own private practice and specialize in Autism in Adults, as well as Trauma and Eating Disorders.

A little bit about me: I am 25, and I adore animals. At one point, I was interested in becoming an exotic veterinarian. I am obsessed with entomology and psychology. I enjoy playing video games in my free-time (if I have any) and as I previously stated, I am a first-gen college student.

It would mean a lot to me if I could receive any form of help, even a dollar goes a long ways, especially in this economy if you know what I mean.
