Support Ashville and Swannanoa Hurricane Recovery

My husband Chris and I are raising funds for the communities of Ashville and Swannanoa in North Carolina who have suffered from the damage of hurricane Helene. We are from Florida and have a few friends in NC whose shops were flooded and the employees of these stores are now out of work. Additionally, people are thieving from the unmanned stores and raiding them for supplies. People are struggling to feed themselves and their shelters are destroyed. These donations will go directly towards the victims of hurricane Helene to support their immediate needs for food,clothing, and shelter. We are bruilding survival kits including toiletries, thermal blankets, water, snacks, and other clothing. My husband has an off-road truck that will be taking the supplies from Florida up to North Carolina on Tuesday, 10/9. But please understand that people have died and they are still pulling bodies out of the rebel damage structures since last week which the news does not portray. With the roads being so damaged governmental supplies are having difficulties reaching the victims in certain places including Asheville and Swannanoa. Your help towards this cause is deeply appreciated!

Furthermore, another hurricane will be taking a similar path next week and these at risk people will have nowhere to go for shelter!

Please consider helping out our fellow Americans during their time of great need. Please put yourselves in their shoes to consider how much they've lost. A little goes a long way especially when we come together, even if it's just to purchase a pair of shoes and socks for a child.
