Angela is raising support for Ashur Walton, their 15-year-old child, who was chosen for a study abroad program through Elk River High School. This is an incredible opportunity for Ashur, and being selected by the school is a real honor. Ashur’s father and Angela are both contributing, and Ashur is also willing to work hard to earn the opportunity. Even with that effort, the family is facing a difficult challenge: the trip costs $4,000, and the short amount of time to prepare has made it impossible to cover everything alone.

The funds raised will help pay for Ashur’s flight, food, and other trip-related costs so this opportunity does not slip away because of finances. Angela is reaching out to friends, family, and the community to help support Ashur’s educational enrichment and interpersonal development through this experience. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much to Ashur and the family. Thank you for helping make this important opportunity possible.
