This is not something I usually do, I’ve raised funds for people before, but never like this. This morning at 5:45am on my way to work, a young man crashed into my car. It was his fault, but it was absolutely an accident. Before I could even put my car in park he was at my window yelling to God and Jesus to please let me not be hurt. I’m guessing he is maybe 19 or 20 years old. I drive a big suv so damage was there, but not terrible. His car on the other hand was destroyed. We went thru all the protocol with the officer on the scene and this is where my heart got tugged on. He was begging the officer to please let him drive his car opposed to it being towed. This car was not drivable. He told the officer that his car is all that he has. He had no family to call, no one to help him, he is literally 100% alone. He even mentioned that he had just spent his last dollar he possessed in life at McDonald’s. He was not putting on an act. He kept saying to me that he was thankful to Jesus that I was not injured and he was so sorry if I was late to work. I immediately knew I would not get a wink of sleep if I didn’t try to bless this little dude. I’m doing this in case someone else wants to plant a little good seed in the ground. I’m not trying to break records here….this could raise 300 bucks and that’s some food in his stomach and maybe a much needed new outfit or two. I know times are tough and I hold no iLL will towards anyone. But maybe tossing a 5 or 10 his way might bless him. I’m not gonna embarrass him by posting a picture of him or anything. I will say his name is Ashton and I truly believe he is trying to serve God and better his life. I’ve already helped him and I got more lined up for him. Toss him a little nugget if you can or want, share this if you want. I assure you, anything will change this kids life. If for some reason have any doubts about the legitimacy of this….you don’t know me very well….a wreck is bad….but he managed to wreck into the right guy. Thanks in advance for anything
