Hi, my name is Steve Stavroplos. My wife Kristi and I are starting this page in support of our cousin Alec, Yasmine, and their son Ashton.

Ashton was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Burkitt’s Lymphoma. This is a rare, highly aggressive, fast-moving lymphoma that frequently affects children and young adults. Ashton is just over two years old and will have a tough battle ahead. Ashton was admitted to Comer’s Children’s Hospital in Chicago, where he will have biopsies, dialysis, and chemotherapy treatments to combat this disease. Alec and Yasmine are dedicated parents who will be fighting this battle along with Ashton. The loss of work, time, and medical expenses will add to the stress of this fight.
