Hello all, my name is Bradley Tucker.
I currently reside here in Palm Bay Florida with my family of 4
(Myself, My Wife Tiffany Tucker, our daughter Raelynn, and son Ashton)
We were hit with some recent news that has left us completely speechless, heartbroken, and scared for what the future holds next.
Those who know us, we are known from Brads Automotive Detailing LLC here in Brevard county. We have hosted quite a few special events where we helped give back to the community in so many ways, and help put on a show everywhere we go, and throughout every event my 2 little sidekicks and my wife have been by my side, and meeting so many of you out there.
however recently, our little back story:
Ashton had an injury to his palm of his right hand back in May 2025 was originally told it was a blood blister it will go away on its own. Then in September 2025 it became a swollen bubble on his palm and was told all types of things. Finally took him to Arnold Palmer hospital after not being able to break 103.4 temp and finally got a referral to a surgeon. We came to the conclusion it was a palmer cyst to have surgery to drain / remove (surgery was done on 2/23/26) and just to be safe, we did do a pathology report. Thank god. Pathology came back on 2/27/26 as a small round blue cell tumor favoring EWING SARCOMA. They ordered a FISH test to rule it out and it came back on 03/03/26 as EWSR rearrangement within the tumor and The tumor cells stain was positive for Ewing Sarcoma. This is a non inherited genetic thing but it's a somatic mutation. So Ashton's chromosome 22 broke apart with another chromosome causing the cancer. On 3/13/26 we met with oncology and we got to tell our six year old son that he has cancer and will have to do all these test, have a port put in and do a bone marrow biopsy then start chemo therapy.
This is how it started after he pinched his hand on the slide at school.
Then it began to swell up rather quickly but was told it was just a blood blister.
Then we finally got answers and are now lost emotionally & mentally...
As far as right now goes, the pathology report officially confirms the surgery did not fully remove the tumor, with that his labs are still coming back extremely abnormal.
More tests including a ct scan, pet scan, and mri with and without contrast are scheduled Tuesday and everything begins..
Also that same day they are going to do a test on his bone marrow to see if this is further.
Currently, the treatment plan does not include radiation. If this bone marrow comes back also off Ashton will also have to experience both chemo and radiation.
This plan includes 6 heavy meds that are given in segments and meds to come home with, Ashton will have to be admitted every other week to Orlando (1 hour 30 minutes away from home). Alternating between 7 and 5 days at a time depending on the treatment schedule for that week.
I want to thank Arnold Palmer and everyone (there was so many people..) the team was amazing and helped us tell the kiddos in a better more understandable way, they gave us books about chemo for us to read to the kiddos to help them better too, and had all kinds of toys to play with while they were there to distract them.
Ashton will have a port, and receive his meds through that port for a full year.
The side effects of all of this is what really killed us inside. This involved heart damage / failure in the future, and many other things. Ashton will need an EKG every 2 years to see where his baseline is at and will need to be constantly monitored.
My son’s road ahead is going to be rough, and for our family…
Ashton will need to be removed from physical school for the time being, and a form of virtual will have to be made available (our social worker is working on that now)
I want to thank my strong support network at home, from my son and daughters best friends parents willing to help us with getting to and from school on some days, to my mom and my sister and my grandparents for everything, including my in laws, and even to a lot of this community that is on my personal Facebook page.
My son made an Amazon wish list, and one of those big things was a laptop to play his Minecraft, and a 3d printer for daddy to print him as many dragons and fidgets he wants to bring up to him when I come see them on days off… (this is going to be hard)
My sons Amazon List:
My wife Tiffany has been on top of updating everything on social at the moment, I am completely broken.
This is her current post:
We are very fortunate for her job working with her, I’m not sure what going to happen when she needs to leave for extended periods.
I cannot simply stop working. If I could, I would be there every step of the way but we are still paying off many things and I am a one man show.
Currently we’re on the hunt for a cheaper 2016-2019 sedan to help get my wife into something more reliable for these trips, her current van will not last as it’s already at 260k and needs some engine work.
We’re praying for a miracle here, there has been so much information all at once, and that’s truly what’s sending us spiraling.
Thank you all sincerely for reaching out and being there to chat to.
We’re scared & nervous for what’s to come.
Please keep Ashton and the best possible testing outcomes in your prayers.
Ashton is only 6
He’s so very strong and brave to what’s to come, he and us as a family could use a city of people backing him right now!
Thank you all
- Brad
