Ashton Leigh made a dramatic entrance into our world earlier this month. She was born not breathing after an emergency C-section due to organ failure in both mother and baby. The baby was resuscitated, but has a long road ahead in the NICU. Mom has been released from the hospital after a grueling stint in the ICU, but baby will be in the NICU for an unknown amount of time. Mom cannot work as she continues to recover from health issues that developed during pregnancy and particularly in the days leading up to her hospitalization. It was a miracle that they both survived. As Krysta and her husband navigate the road ahead with the unknown needs for baby Ashton, they could use any blessings anyone can give. Her young son can't wait to have his mother and new baby sister home with him. Any help for them to cover their bills during this difficult time would be appreciated.
