Support Ashton after surgery

Hi, my name is Bryttney and I wanted to start a fundraiser to help support one of my best friends and her family through a difficult situation where Ashton had to have surgery to remove a rare tumor from her brain. The last thing I want her and her family to have to worry about is medical bills. Ashton and her husband, Cody, have two young children and can use all the support they can get since Ashton will be unable to work for the time being. Ashton has grown up with experiencing horrible migraines and about 2 weeks ago another migraine hit. However, this one was different than previous migraines and she knew something else was going on. After having a constant, debilitating migraine for 10 days in a row Ashton was able to get an MRI of her brain. This MRI showed a rare tumor called a colloid cyst deep in one of her ventricles. This tumor had started to cause the cerebral fluid to build up and leading to increased intracranial pressure. Ashton was able to get an appointment with an amazing neurosurgeon on Wednesday (2/21) and was scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor on Friday (2/23).

The latest update I have is that the surgery went well and was successful. Now the recovery begins! Please consider helping this amazing family through this difficult time if you are able. Well wishes and prayers will help as well!
