Hello there!

My name is Ash, I'm a recent college grad with a Bachelor's of Art in English. I'm also a transmasc person living in the rural Southern US. As you can imagine, it's a bit of a tough spot, but I'm very lucky to have the support of my friends, partner, roommate, and community.

I've known that I wanted top surgery since I moved away from home for college, and I put away funds knowing that was a goal of mine. I even had a successful consultation with a surgeon this February!

This summer, though, I made the choice to move out of my parents' house for the sake of my own happiness. I don't regret that choice, but it did mean that the money I set aside for top surgery is now going toward my costs of living while I search for a job.

Top surgery is something that I know would make me finally feel at home in my body, but it is (like most healthcare procedures in the US) very expensive.
