Support Ash's Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

Ashley and Jeremy need the support of our incredible communities. Ash, 39-years-old, has been newly diagnosed with stage four breast cancer, with multiple sites of metastasis, now complicated by acute liver failure. She is in the care of Maine General Medical Center's oncology staff where she has immediately begun chemotherapy. Ash has many hurdles to come, with multiple rounds of treatment and many surgical procedures on the horizon. True to her spirit, Ash continues to brighten our days with her smile. She has an exceedingly positive mindset and her and Jeremy are gearing up for one hell of a fight. We are coming to our loved ones and the members of our communities to ask for financial support during this unimaginable time. Ash and her loving husband Jeremy will need help addressing the impending medical expenses as well as provide a buffer so Jeremy may afford the necessary time off from work to support Ash for whatever may come next. Ash, born in 1986, grew up in Richmond and Bowdoinham, Maine. She loves art, her rescue mutts Posey and Hershel, and wants nothing more than to grow old with her husband and dogs. Ash is loving, thoughtful, and extremely empathetic. One of the few foods she can currently eat, Ash has been really enjoying rootbeer popsicles!!

Ash's husband Jeremy, born in 1985, moved to Maine when he was 10 when his father was stationed in Brunswick. Ash and Jeremy went to highschool together, and later reconnected while Jeremy was serving in the United States Navy. Ash married her sailor husband, and best friend, in February of 2013. They now live in Augusta with their fur babies.
