Support Ashlynn and Her Daughters After Tragedy

Hi! My name is Lindsey and I am reaching out to create a GoFundMe page for my dear friend, Ashlynn Short. Ashlynn is going through an extremely difficult time. After the tragic loss of Dennis, who sadly passed away on July 3rd in a life-altering accident, just one day before their daughter's first birthday. He was her children’s father and her life partner for 7 years.

Ashlynn is left alone to care for their two young daughters on her own. She had to leave their home due to financial struggles and also had to quit her job in order to take care of her daughters since he would watch them while she worked. She has a small part-time job but it’s not enough to get by at all. She now faces the challenge of providing for her family with barely any income right now. Ashlynn also recently lost her means of transportation as her vehicle broke down and it’s too expensive for her to fix.

Ashlynn is a recovering alcoholic and addict (she has 2 1/2 years clean and sober!) Despite these difficulties, she remains strong and committed to staying sober. It is hard for her to ask for help, and even harder for her to even talk about her loss and what’s going on in her life right now, which is why I am stepping in to assist her in this time of need. Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated to help Ashlynn and the girls during this tough time. We are hoping to raise enough money for her to be able to get into another place to live, get a reliable car & help pay for childcare so she can go back to work and start rebuilding her life after this unexpected tragedy.
