There are no words that can ease the loss of a loved one, especially when that loss comes sudden and unexpected.

A member of our Anchor family is currently experiencing a devastating loss at this time, forever changing her life and more than likely the way she views the world moving forward.

Ashlin lost her little brother unexpectedly on Sunday morning.

Not only is she the heart of the shipping department, but she is the heart of her family as well. She proudly carries the weight and responsibilities of her family. Knowing her, she will do the same with the passing of her little brother. She will no doubt be the rock and keep her family upright during this mourning period. But who is keeping her upright? That is us, her work family.

I am creating this GoFundMe for Ashlin so she is not carrying the financial weight of her little brother's funeral expenses on her own. If we can come together and each donate a little bit to her GoFundMe, we can help her have a memorial for her little brother. I believe this will also let her see that she is not alone in this, and that she has an entire family here at Anchor waiting to shower her with our love and support, especially so close to the holidays.
