Support Ashley's Journey to Get a Service Dog

Hi, my name is Sue Pinkham and I'm posting this GOFUNDME for a very dear friend, Ashley Goodall. I've known Ashley since 2010 and she has been a blessing in my life. In fact, she is like another daughter to me, and she calls me "Mama Sue".

Ashley is a 33 year old chronic pain patient, patient advocate, a board member of The Coalition Against Pediatric Pain and most importantly, an amazing young adult who is kind, caring, loving and selfless. Ashley is always helping others and wanting to do more for them. At the age of 13, Ashley developed her own 501(c)3, Rock Out To Knock Out RSD, Inc., to support patients who live with severe chronic pain from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, (CRPS) formerly known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD). Ashley understands CRPS extremely well because she too suffers from it and has for the last 20 years. Due to her current health situation, Ashley had to dissolve Rock Out, after 21 years. It was heartbreaking for her but she decided to donate all the proceeds from Rock Out to another non-profit, The Coalition Against Pediatric Pain to help children who live with chronic pain conditions. Ashley's love for others who suffer from pain is admirable and she continues to reach out to them.

As Ashley gets older she's being diagnosed with more health issues, including CRPS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Disorder, and other comorbid conditions. As her illnesses have progressed she has found herself in need of some support. Ashley is in the process of trying to get a Service Dog and needs some help paying for the dog and their training. The total expenses for the dog will be around $10,000 including the cost of the dog, the training and all the supplies. Ashley needs our help to make her dream a reality.

Ashley has given so much of herself to others making sure they never felt alone living with pain. It’s time for all of us to show Ashley how much we appreciate her and love her.
