Support Ashley's Journey Through Illness

My name is Ashley, and asking for help has never come easy for me. In October of 2022, I lost my full time position at the local health center after being put on medical leave. In the years since, I have been trying to navigate the world of western medicine to find a diagnosis. After being dismissed from my primary care physician due to their retirement, I have faced great difficulty in finding a replacement physician. Without a primary physician, referrals to specialists are not possible.

To buy myself some time and continue to work on my future, I enrolled in college to pursue my degree in Early Childhood Education. While I have found success academically, I was only able to get enough student loans and scholarships to pay for my tuition. My family has relied on my small vintage reselling business to keep food on the table.

Extreme weight loss, tachycardia, hair loss, vision changes, joint and muscle pain, inflammation, digestive problems, and chronic fatigue are among the many factors contributing to the decline in my health. Factors that also led to a very painful miscarriage in 2023.

My inability to work has been straining our financial resources beyond our means. In this challenging time, we are humbly seeking any support you may be able to provide to help alleviate some of these financial pressures.

I lead a very frugal life. All funds raised will go directly towards helping to feed myself and my family. As well as towards gas money to hopefully get some more answers.
