I'm Samuel, and my wife Ashley was diagnosed with stage 3 Lymphoma this past December. I'm unable to work full time due to my own disability, and as such Ashley's work is our main source of income. So far, she's been able to work in between infusions with PFMLA, but it's getting to the point where intermittent accommodations just isn't enough.

We're going to look into short-term disability through her work, but after doing the math we won't have enough to keep up with our bills, especially with all of the medical bills building up.

I'm trying to get as much work as possible, but I'll really only be able to cover our groceries - which has gotten even more expensive with the specialty food we have to get.

We're hoping to save up enough money that she can safely apply for short term disability so she can focus fully on her chemo and recovery, without us worrying about being able to stay afloat.
