Hello! My name is Ashley Gereben and I am battling Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

As some background about me, I am 30 years old and teach high school biology! I am very passionate about my career and love being able to make a positive impact on my students' lives. I am married to Cody Quillen, the love of my life, who has been so supportive during this difficult time.

Being 30 years old and battling cancer is really difficult; this is not something I ever imagined going through at such a young age. Receiving a cancer diagnosis is a long, emotional, and physical process. There are a lot of doctor's appointments, scans, biopsies, etc. I am now a month into my 20 weeks of chemotherapy, which will be followed by surgery and radiation. I already have thousands of dollars of medical debt, and I still have most of my treatment to go! There are also a lot of other expenses, such as purchasing a wig, which have also come up. If you would like to help, I would be so appreciative as it would be used for medical expenses, groceries, and other bills that need to be paid while I undergo treatment.

I still have a long journey ahead, but I am already receiving a lot of support and love from my family, friends, and my awesome coworkers! Any support you are willing to provide is so helpful! Thank you for reading! :)
