Hey there, my name is Ashley and I can’t believe I’m asking for help. Anyone that knows me knows how hard working I am and how I bend over backwards to help others. I was working at the same job for the past few years and going to college. My major is human services as I’ve always had a heart to help in the community. I’m currently in the process of transferring my classes online. Anyways, I had been dealing with chronic leg pain for about 4 years and finally I found a Dr who listened and cared which i’m very grateful for. Unfortunately my life change in the blink of an eye. I’ve recently been diagnosed with severe AVN ( avascular necrosis) - bone infarcts that left majority of my bones in my right leg “dead” due to lack of blood supply and have caused unbearable pain. I’m now unable to work an entire shift. I’m able to last about 3 hour if that a day. (I’m pushing myself , and promised myself to never give up even though the Dr recommended me to stay off my feet until we find the right operation to save my leg. I’m asking for help while I fight to save my leg and my mobility.
Local and International specialist are still determining if surgery can save the bone or if amputation might be necessary. Daily activities like standing, cooking, getting out of bed, and even sleeping have become challenges I thought I’d never have to face, especially being only 36 years old.
Despite the pain I’m holding on to hope. I believe that God gives his hardest battles to his toughest soldiers, and I’m determined to recover and one day walk without pain. Any donation, no matter how small helps me move one step closer to healing by covering medical bills and basic living expenses until surgery and recovery is conquered. If u can’t donate share my story to help me reach others who might be able to help. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean the world to me. Together we can give my leg and my life another chance. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for praying and supporting me.
P.S. be grateful far the small things in life, like having legs —
Ive added my MRI image — and will continue to update you through my journey
Again, thank you for reading and if your unable to donate just say a prayer for me.
