Support Ashley Wright's Family in Their Time of Loss

My name is Ashley Wright. I am organizing this GoFundMe for my dad who completely unexpectedly passed away today, Aug 4th, 2024. Our family is completely heartbroken and shattered. We have been through so much just this year. I have lost my papaw, my stepfather of 25 years, and now my father. Every father figure in my life just this year. I am so devastated and don't know where to start.

My dad was one of the best men I have ever known and had a heart of gold. He couldn't hurt a fly, not one mean bone in his body. He was greatly loved by his family - me, my husband, my mom. My mom was the love of his life and never found anyone else and died still in love with her. My children, his grandchildren, were the light of his life. He always wanted a son and treated my boys as his own. They were HIS boys. We are shook and going to terribly miss him.

After he lost his mother 10 years ago and then his dad earlier this year, he seemed to have just given up and lost hope. It breaks my heart; he was so young. He was only 52. He had no life insurance and we're struggling to come up with the means to give him the burial or memorial he deserves. Anything helps, even if it's just lifting our family in prayers right now. I can't handle any more this year. This has been the hardest year of my life. I love you, dad, and don't know how I will live the rest of my life without you.

Everything is still so soon to tell when or where the service will be. It might take a few days before the medical examiner finishes and his body released. As soon as we know the arrangements will will update on here as well as Facebook and private message close family and friends.

All funds will be used for cremation, celebration of life, urns, flowers, and to help support the family of travis till they can get back to working.
