Support Ashley Patrick's Son's Healing Journey

Hello, my name is Ashley Patrick, and I wanted to share my son's tragic story to the world.

Friday June 20th around 6:30pm my son was at a local park Simmons Park located on 19450 Chapel Street My son was at the park playing basketball like he always does when he was shot in his left eye with a bb gun from a bully that's well known at that park! My son was rushed to the ER when we found out the bullet was still in his eye; they immediately rushed him for immediate surgery! Doctors then later told us that my son may not ever regain vision in his left eye. As a mother that is not no news no mother should have to hear about their 12-year-old son, my son is not a troubled child he's never been in trouble he's been actively on the honor roll since kindergarten he love sports, his video games and his family and friends, and he's just an all-around great kid , My child has serious injuries to his eye to where it'll never be the same again! My son spirits and pride are shot, gone his esteem has definitely decreased and his entire summer is gone he can't be a kid because he has to be down for a while due to this traumatic injury, I'm asking for prayers and support to help us get through this unfortunate situation, I'm just asking for help so that my son can still enjoy his summer somewhat, and with medical needs such as special made glasses that insurance will not cover the entire cost due to him having this injury and just anything to help lift my son's spirits up, he loves reading books , doing puzzles watching movies , tv shows , cartoons playing video games and he love sports!! His favorite team is the Minnesota Timberwolves, and his favorite player is Anthony Edwards!! My kid is just a regular kid who still like to go outside get dirty and act like a normal kid, my child didn't deserve this anything would appreciative!!! Thank you!!!
