My Name is Cheryl; We are raising money for Ashley Anderson and her family. Saturday May 3rd, 2025, Ashley suffered a massive seizure at home with her husband, she was taken by ambulance from her home to Cozad Hospital where they found she suffered a Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm Rupture. They were unaware of the aneurysm prior to this event. She was then life flighted to Good Samaritan hospital in Kearney Nebraska, where they determined, they weren't equipped to handle the severity of Ashley's case and life flighted her for a second time to Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. While coherent, they fear brain damage due to Ashley's loss of memory. She didn't remember who her husband or son or any of her family were. Her son has let me know she had surgery this morning. He believes it was to block the artery to prevent it from happening again. (we believe she had what is referred to as a microsurgical clipping or endovascular treatment i.e. coiling or stenting) Ashley will be in the hospital for an extended time for monitoring and a slew of rehabilitation from multiple departments to aide in the neurological deficits she is currently exhibiting. At this time her husband Don and son Preston will remain by her side while Ashley fights to recover and regain her memory and rehabilitation. We know the medical bills are going to be astronomical as well as the financial burden from Don and Preston's leave of absence from work, so we are asking for donations to help elevate the financial burden so Don and Preston can focus on being there to support Ashley.
