On 12/21/2020 Jekobi Wells was shot and killed in the streets of Paris, Ky.
His Father William Wells, and his girlfriend Ashley Garrard are well known members of the Paris,KY community. Their burden this holiday season is heavy, as is the unexpected costs of burying their 21 year old son. I am creating this GoFundMe to help relieve the burden. If you can, please help me in that challenge, through funds, and through prayer.
Local business owners at A&W Kustom Apparel, Ashley Garrard and William Wells have been serving the community of Paris, KY for many years now. From their hard work in their clothing shop, to coaching girls basketball, to supporting other local businesses and helping mentor young people throughout the city.
Their tireless efforts have been felt for years in the community and they are beloved by many.
William's biological son Jekobi was also incredibly well known in the community as an incredibly talented young athlete in Basketball, Football, and Track. His personality was one that was hard to deny, infectious in a way, with his jovial spirit and charismatic characteristics.
This tragic event is not something that can be undone, however we can turn a different light on it if we can come together, offer a place of salvation, and help them heal through hope, and a less burdensome transition.
