Support Josh's Journey to Healing:Help Us Get Home
Donation protected
On Sunday, June 22, completely out of the blue, my brother-in-law left my sister and their two sons in Hawaii. He is currently struggling with severe PTSD from his military service in Iraq and Afghanistan, compounded by the distressing state of the world. Since moving to Hawaii, he has found it difficult to access the help he needs. He departed Hawaii, leaving my sister and their two boys, ages 12 and 9, without family, friends, or support.
In the days that followed, Josh abruptly stopped communicating with Ashley, going from regular conversations to silence. He has also posted concerning, suicidal content on Facebook, raising serious alarms about his well-being. His car has been found in Black Canyon, Arizona, and he is now considered a missing and endangered person. Law enforcement is actively searching for him, utilizing drones and helicopters to cover the rough terrain.
Josh has always been there for his friends in their times of need, and now it’s our turn to support Ashley and help find him, ensuring he receives the help he desperately needs and deserves.
I am reaching out for assistance to help my sister and her boys return home. Additionally, we need to get Ashley to Arizona so she can support the search for her husband, who desperately needs her and all of us right now.
The funds will cover:
- One month’s rent and household expenses: $4,500
- Shipment of the car my nephew inherited from my late father: $2,300
- Shipment of household goods: $3,100
- Airfare for three to Seattle: approximately $2,100
Please help bring Ashley and her boys back to family, where we can support them during this challenging time. Anything raised above this will be used to help get Ashley and the boys settled back here in Washington.
